Delete your account

You can delete your Klusmaat account and your data at any time. Here's how.

You decide what happens to your data. You can delete your account and everything in it — straight from the app, in a few taps. Below is exactly how it works and what happens afterwards. Stuck? At the bottom you'll find how to ask us by email.

In the app: delete your account and all your data

If you're the owner of your company in Klusmaat, here's how to delete everything: open the app, go to Settings, choose "Delete account" and type your company name to confirm. You then have 24 hours to change your mind — we send you an email with a link to cancel. If you do nothing, we permanently delete your company, all your data and your login, and cancel any active subscription.

Work in more than one company? Delete only this one

If you belong to more than one company in Klusmaat, this step deletes only the data of this company. Your login stays, because you still need it for your other companies. The app explains this once more clearly before you confirm.

Are you a team member, not the owner? Delete only your own login

If you've been added to someone else's company, you can delete your own login without the company or its data disappearing — those stay with the owner. Go to Settings and choose "Delete my login".

What gets deleted?

When you delete your account we remove your jobs, quotes, invoices, clients, photos and messages, along with your login. Any active subscription is cancelled. Some data we're required by law to keep for a while — invoices, for example, because of tax retention rules. We delete those as soon as that term expires, and we don't use them for anything else in the meantime.

No app to hand? Email us

If you can't do it in the app, you can also email your request to info@klusmaat.ai. Include your company name and the email address you log in with, so we can be sure it's you. We handle your request within 30 days, as required by privacy law (GDPR).
